Summary of this proficiency test:

On 16 April 2014 the proficiency test on Biogasoline E85 started with 17 participants from 13 different countries.

On that date the sample was dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, a form to confirm receipt of the sample and the safety data sheet (SDS).

The samples have to be analyzed on: Acidity, Methanol, Higher Sat. alcohols, Ethers, Copper, Copper strip 3hrs/50°C, Density @15°C, Gum (washed), Oxidation Stability, Ethanol, inorganic Chloride, Oxygen, Sulphur, pHe, Phosphorus and water.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 23 May 2014. A laboratory that sends in results after deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
