Proficiency Test on Toluene started

Summary of this proficiency test:

On 11 February 2015 the proficiency test on Toluene started with 39 participants from 22 different countries. On that date, samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, forms for the reporting the receipt of the samples and the safety data sheet (SDS).

The Toluene samples may be analyzed on Acid wash color, Appearance, Colour, Density @ 20°C, Distillation, Purity, Copper Corrosion, Non aromatics and benzene.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 13 March 2015. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
