Proficiency Test on Liquefied Butane started

Summary of this proficiency test:

On 27 May 2015 the proficiency test on Liquefied Butane started with 50 participants from 29 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the samples were the instructions to the participants for this proficiency test, forms for the reporting of the analysis results and the safety data sheet (SDS).

The samples can be analyzed on Propane, n-Butane, 1,3-Butadiene, iso-Butene, 1-Butene, trans-2-Butene, cis-2-Butene, iso-Pentane, iso-Butane, Propene, Molar Mass, Relative Density @60F and Vapour pressure @100F.

The deadline for reporting results is set on 26 Junel 2015. A laboratory that reports test results after deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.
