Summary of this proficiency test: On 16 August 2017 the proficiency test on Methanol starts with 89 participants from 37 different countries. On that date, the sample will be dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS). Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.
The sample can be analyzed on: Acidity, Appearance, Carbonisable substances, Chloride, Color Pt/Co,
Density at 20°C, Specific Gravity 20/20°C, Distillation, Iron, Miscibility (water), Nonvolatile matter, Permanganate Time Test at 15°C,
Purity, Acetone, Benzene, Ethanol, Toluene, Sulphur, Trimethylamine, Water, UV Absorbance.
The deadline for reporting results is set on 22 Sept 2017. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely
not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in
