2023 Proficiency Test (PT) on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO100) started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 21 June 2023 the proficiency test on Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO100) started with 28 participants from 14 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: Acid Value, Total Acid Number, Ash content, Cloud Point, Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP), Carbon Residue (micro method) on 10% distillation residue, Copper Corrosion 3 hrs at 50 °C, Density at 15 °C, Flash Point (PMcc), Iodine Value, Kinematic Viscosity at 40 °C, Oxidation Stability Induction period, Pour Point, Sulfated Ash, Sulfur, Water, Water and Sediment, Distillation at 760 mmHg, Lubricity by HFRR at 60 °C, Manganese as Mn and Total Aromatic Hydrocarbons.  

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 28 July 2023. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
