2024 Proficiency Test (PT) on Fuel Oil Chemical Species started

Summary of this proficiency test:

 

On 12 June 2024 the proficiency test on Fuel Oil Chemical Species started with 20 participants from 11 different countries. On that date, the samples were dispatched to the laboratories. Enclosed to the sample is the material safety data sheet (MSDS).

Please confirm sample receipt as soon as you have received and checked the contents of the sample package via www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. Please enter the date of receipt and press the "save date" button.

 

The samples can be analyzed on: n-Butyl alcohol, Cyclohexanol, n-Butyl ether, n-Butyl acrylate, Styrene, alpha-Pinene, Phenol, alpha-Methyl styrene, beta-Pinene, 4-Methyl styrene, trans-B-Methyl styrene, 3-Methyl styrene, 2-Methyl styrene, Dicyclopentadiene, Limonene, Indene, 1-Phenyl ethanol, para,alpha-Dimethyl styrene, 2,5-Dimethyl styrene, 2,4-Dimethyl styrene, 2-Phenyl ethanol, 2-Ethyl phenol, 2,4-Dimethyl phenol, sum of 4-Ethyl phenol+3-Ethyl phenol, 2-Phenoxy-1-propanol, 2-Phenoxy ethanol, 4-iso-Propylphenol, 1-Phenoxy-2-Propanol and Styrene glycol.  

 

The deadline for reporting results is set on 19 July 2024. A laboratory that reports test results after the deadline will definitely not get direct feedback in case any of its results are suspect! So be in good time to get the most out of this proficiency test.

The test results should be reported via our internet based results reporting platform www.kpmd.co.uk/sgs-iis/. A login and a password can be requested via email to nl.iis@sgs.com
